Drippy cake class

Attention all cakers!

Do you have an upcoming birthday party or event you’re going to? Need a cake? Wow your friends and family by coming on this course to learn how to make a chocolate shard drippy cake.

You don’t have to be creative or a star baker to attend this course. Anyone of all levels will be talked through each and every stage to ensure they achieve their fantastic looking cake and forevermore after attending the course.

How? Because I will show and share with you all of my baking, decorating tips and knowledge that I have accumulated over the many years of baking. I know what it’s like to be a newbie (we all had to start somewhere) and I’ve done a lot of trial and errors along the way.

Imagine this….you’re invited to a birthday party and have been asked to make the cake. This is pressurising because this is a big thing as it’ll be the centre of attention. But it’s ok, you’ve got this. You attended the Drippy Cake decorating course with Mai at M Bakery and know all of the skills and tricks to pull this off!

You create an amazing birthday cake and when you turn up, everyone is so impressed by your cake, they instantly take out their phones to take a picture and ask if you made it…er, “yes I did” thank you!

Cake may only last a day or two but a picture of your cake and the memories will last a lifetime.

This is an exciting opportunity for you to learn how to create a drippy cake effect and make shards to decorate your cake. At the end of the course you will get to take your fabulous cake creation home to show off!

{ FAQs }

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

There is free parking at the venue which has enough space for 12 cars. The social club is right next to the Portbury MOT centre so you can’t miss it.

If you are getting a bus from Bristol City Centre, please catch the X3 bus towards Portishead (please check before travelling) and depart at Sheepway. There is a ten minute walk from there. You can get off at Gordano Services however the walk to the social club is a bit awkward.

I’m more than happy to meet you at the Sheepway bus stop to walk you to the social club. Just let me know in advance if you need me!

What can I bring into the event?

Yourself! Feel free to bring a pen and pad to make notes. There are some electric sockets around too in case you need to charge your phone during the day. If you would like to purchase any decorating tools, please let me know in advance and bring some cash with you.

What’s the refund policy?

Unfortunately there is no refund once payment has been made however someone else can take your place (please see below). If however, the event is cancelled by me, I will of course, give you a full refund or put you on the next available course.

Is my space transferrable?

Yes but only to another person for the date of the course you have paid for. In the unfortunate event that you are unable to make it to the class, please let me know ASAP as well as the name and contact details of the person who will be taking your place.
